On your phone. ASCND doesn't upload your practice. Premium keeps your record across launches, and a copy saved in Backup & Restore moves it to a new phone. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.

Your practice is saved on your phone, so you bring it with you. It's a Premium feature.

1. On your old phone, open Backup & restore in Profile and tap Export backup.
2. Choose somewhere you can reach from the new phone, like Google Drive, iCloud Drive or email.
3. On your new phone, install ASCND and finish setup. In Profile > Account, sign in with the same Apple or Google account. If Premium isn't back, tap Restore purchases.
4. Open Backup & restore, tap Import backup, pick the file and tap Replace all data. This replaces anything already in the app on that phone.

Save a copy now and then. If you lose your phone, that copy is how you get your practice back.

On iPhone, an iPhone backup can also bring your practice to a new iPhone.

Only while you use it: to find nearby courses, and during a round for yardages and shot marks. If your phone and watch are out of reach when a round ends, a watch with the ASCND app open may keep reading it for up to an hour after you last used it. ASCND never sends it to a server of its own. The map itself comes from Apple or Google, and on an Android phone, Google receives your phone's location to draw it; see the Privacy Policy.

Drills were never the bottleneck — the internet has thousands. What YouTube can't do is pick the right drill for your game today, size it to your minutes, set a target that defines "done," read the result against your trend, and adjust tomorrow accordingly. A drill without selection, dosage, and feedback is just content.

It reads four streams of evidence: your diagnostics (where misses go), your session results (what's trending), your rounds (what transfers to the course), and your confidence checks (what you actually trust). Subscriptions are managed by the store you subscribed through. On iPhone, cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
